Makes 1 cup

7 cloves garlic, divided
3/4 cup CRISCO Oil, divided
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freeze-dried chives
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Cut 6 garlic cloves in half. Mince remaining clove and set aside.
Heat 1/4 cup Crisco Oil in small skillet. Add halved garlic cloves. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes, or until garlic is golden brown. Remove from heat. Cool. Remove and discard garlic.
Transfer garlic-flavored oil to jar. Add remaining ingredients, remaining 1/2 cup Crisco Oil and minced garlic. Cover tightly and shake until blended. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Shake before serving.
Store covered in refrigerator. Shake before serving.
